14 december 2005 (Wed) was supposed to be a fun and memorable day,cause it's Abah's birthday. Well,it's memorable alrite but not at all fun. Cause,you see, we got into an accident with a motorcycle at Nicoll Drive.
We had just finished dinner at Changi, a simple dinner to celebrate the day. Later we went to park at a carpark, looking at the aircrafts flying overhead. After a couple of minutes, decided to go back n eat the 2 birthday cakes I had bought for him as a suprise.
As we were getting out of the carpark n onto the main road, Abah checked both directions first. We just moved a few metres out when I saw a motorcycle halfway approaching towards us. "Abah", I yelled and he looked at me too,confirming what I saw.He tried to drive forward and BANG!!
Total shock! Looked around n to my horror saw the motorist a few metres away,facing down. "Keluar, keluar." In my heart of heart, I prayed dear god,pls don't let the guy die. Ran to his side, found him conscious n in total shock.Can't turn him around for fear of any neck injury.Thank God for all the kind souls that stopped n helped us. Directing the traffic, calling the family n just being there for us. Aini was in shock.
Long story short, accident happened at 1930hrs and we got back home around 12mn. Had to wait for th TP to do his report, tow truck to tow the taxi away n go down to the TP HQ to see the I/O.
The next day,went to Changi Airport to see the guy. Found out that he was in the Surgical ICU, I was a wreck afraid that the family will kill us upon intro.But only the wife was there n she was cool, wats fated is fated. Turns out that he had a fracture on his face (?). Anyway, he was in Surgical ICU as a precaution, in case of infection.
Anyway tat was wat happened on 14 December 2005, an unforgettable day all around. One of he reasons why I think tat I will most probably never ever drive. The TP's investigation report will be out in a month's time. Abah said tat as in most similar cases, he will probably end up in the wrong even if the motorist was driving at a high speed.

time

sometimes i just sit down n be. i feel time all around me. Slipping between my fingers. Standing still. Urging me to hurry. Caressing me to a still. Too much and too little. Where does it all go? Should I hurry or should I go slow? One thing that I know, it allows me to be in my own skin. For whatever it is, time is mine n we'll see how it goes.....

This semester I will not be beaten.Well, mostly not. I will strive for As.As many As as possible. So many As that I'll get confused which subject is which.
